Is Today's Top Trends really back?

Recently the popular and classic blog, Today's Top Trends has been in the spotlight, after another of it's beginnings. Now, I'm sure we all know of Today's Top Trends, or TTT's notorious start-overs, most of which last about a week. But is this the start of a new era? Has TTT come back for good?

Observe for yourself. Or rather, let me do the observing for you. The blog is slightly less desolate with a new banner, (nice!) new writers, and new segments. One of which is a fashion exam segment. To be completely honest, those bore me. Especially when the two dolls have nothing in common but the title of fame. For about five seconds.

In the article/barely-two-paragraphs-long-post, Hollyoaksrocks* (aka Khol) starts off by showing a picture of the Emmahunt4 (Hilmy) and Cooldeer123 (Tania). She then rates then and both have sadly low scores. That's it. The end. Whoop dee doo, two girls had a bad fashion day, their loss. If this segment is supposed to be a fashion exam, where's the fashion? Nobody really cares if somebody has a bad clothing day. We've all been there. Just look through your saved catwalk outfits. The horror.

Now let's move onto the comments. I scrolled down, and what do I see? 20 comments. "Oh man, I thought warily, Not again. Another one of those little comment arguments. Let's see, there's going to be the hurt-but-not-showing-it girl who was featured, the girls who stick up for them, the "haha my outfits are fabulous I never get featured in these" snickering teen, the anonymous haters, and let's not forget the defensive writer!

Okay is it just me or is she screaming "I'm insulted!"? I love reading the little privately (Or at least they think so) insulted comments people write after fashion battles. It's like watching a Romeo and Juliet (the play) without subtitles. Stupidly hilarious.

Anyways, I honestly think these little segments and posts should be posted on a different blog, because honestly they are tacky. Like fake gossip. If I wanted to read posts about stardollian fashion, I would want to read about under-the-radar members with killer style, or rating people with good outfits. Not short posts discussing outfits everyone knows are ugly.

Is Vogue going down?

Surprise, Surprise! A post by yours truly. I think we all thought anonymous blogs had disappeared, (See Ya, anyone?) but no, I'm still here. Just a little bored lately. And it appears I'm not the only one. When I logged in this morning, looking forward to an abundance of posts and notifications, there were four posts. Oh yay, four notifications. But I did notice a few things worthy of talking about. (It's debatable but what else can you do?)

For one thing, the new Vogue "Modeling House" is open. Now, I suppose it's understandable they have a price to be featured, but when I saw nine zero zero on my screen, my jaw dropped. Like, literally dropped. Are people so desperate to get into a Stardoll magazine that they will pay 900 stardollars?

Kristen (Sparklewand12) made a post on The Stardoll Lookbook about Vogue, and says she has not gotten a refund nor has her friend Khol. Now, if I actually paid somebody 900 stardollars to be featured in a VIRTUAL MAGAZINE and decided I wanted a refund, I would GET that refund. If I had to SUE you, I would get those stardollars back.

And just a time to open a modeling house, when the graphics for Vogue are getting worse. Judge for yourself, but the last two releases of Vogue are really not that fabulous anymore. Especially compared to the new magazine, HAUTE by Lindsey (Lovegossip4Life) While the magazine name may not be all that original, the graphics are absolutely stunning. Besides, aren't magazines like wine, they should get better with time?

We'll see soon, but for now, I guess we are all on edge.

Since when is PSG a fashion editing blog?!

Recently, PSG has been hiring more writers and becoming a more up-to-date blog. Okay, nothing wrong with that. But what I really don't understand, is why Dan hired a... fashion editer? Yep, he really did, and if you haven't read the post yet, click HERE to. In fact, I wasn't the only confused reader of that post, about half of the commentators disliked or questioned that post, while the other half had mixed or good responses. See for yourself:
^Nooby? Really?
The  person writing that post is named  Ella Donato, though I don't know her Stardoll name. She started blogging  this month, as she joined in March.

Now, I myself had liked the blog's redoing until this point. I agree with every single denouncing comment on there. In Dei's words. "...Isn't really a 'let's give people makeovers blog..". and I agree with her, COMPLETELY. PSG is a gossip blog, and the main reason I like gossip blogs  is because they are something different than a news blog, or a fashion blog. They have good, intriguing mysteries, and good detectives  to write them, NOT fashion 'editors'.  I honestly have no idea what Dan was thinking when he hired her.

I still hope this is a 'guest' writer, because unlike the previous guest writer's post, (From BeverlyHillsHei) this is NOT something I expect on PSG. I expect gossip, reviews, and interesting tidbits. I had thought PSG was gaining power again, but I am still seeing little cracks in the Wall of China. The template, is a bit tacky, I mean, bright pink?! Sure, it may have been Perez's color, but I'm sure Perez would have changed the color now, if it meant losing followers. That may seem like a ridiculous thing, to lose comments over a template, but it's true. Many times I have seen commentators complain about the bright pink background, and I agree, they need to change it.

In my honest opinion, I think Dan is a bit too agreeable to some of the ideas people come up with. He is a good writer, I will say that, but not as good an admin, I would say. He doesn't seem to realize that he has to be very careful who he picks, if he lets up even slightly, he will get more bad reviews than good.

Do YOU think Ella is a good addition to the blog? If so, then why?

What's going on with Beg for More?

Before my next post, I'd like to thank all of those who stuck up for me on The Antagonist. I may seem like a stuck up snob who just likes to insult everybody, but that's not true. I just like to say what I think about blogs, and why they are that way.

But anyways, back to the main subject. Looking through my blogger list this morning,  I found a main list of posts from PSG, BBS, and finally, a post from Beg For More. I was instantly relieved, as Beg For More is one of my favorites, until I noticed, the post was from... five days ago?  I was surprised, because  Beg For More has always seemed very up to date in my opinion. I thought about it for a minute, then clicked on my Beg For More tab button.

Then, I went to check on the poll I had made, on the homepage of The Bomb. I had posted Beg For More as one of the options, and I wanted to see what others had said about it. Again, I was surprised. Beg For More had been voted the MOST  unfavored, when I had really suspected PSG or MDM. See for yourself:

As I looked to see the average time period between posts, I also saw this interesting post title... By Selena (Ruubin), one of the owners at BFM.

After that post, (Which was deleted, by the way) I started digging for more details. I found some interesting things, a post by Wooldoor, and one my Supa_star4real, both of whom I had no idea they even WROTE there, and a blank post by Patrick (Devie44, who, in my opinion, has always had odd posts), but most of all, Selena was right.

On average, BFM has about one post a week, mainly they are lucky to have that, because in my opinion, their only active writer is Sarabear123, but even SHE seems to have given up on the blog. I'm not exactly sure why everyone has not posted much, Beg For More is still very popular, what with the usually interesting and thoughtful posts given by the writers, and I think one post a week isn't really asking for much...

I myself think that  BFM should hire new writers, and get rid of the inactive ones, but at the same time, I can understand why she hasn't deleted them, as good writers are getting harder harder to find, as many   of the old bloggers of Stardoll  have been leaving.

It sort of saddens me to write this post, because I really liked Beg For More, but if it is going down, the least we can do is give them more publicity.

Do YOU think BFM is going to last long? Or will it be leaving with the next crowd of elites?
-The Bomb.

P.s I know it seems like I'm copying Fiorama's post on PSG, but the whole reason I made that poll was to see what my next post should be about.

PSG- Is it really back on track?

Recently (Or not so recently), It was made known that Jack, mainly known as FreeDuck_  captured the audience of one of the most famed gossip blogs of DollyWood, by claiming the impossible,

Perez Star Gossip.

If I recall, PSG was hacked once or twice before, by numerous elites, but then returned (Or  taken)  to the original caretakers. Jack, on the other hand, had a different idea in mind. Instead of giving it back ever so quickly, he  did the opposite. He changed the banner, into an ever-so-tacky bedazzled skull,  added  other quirky  writers, (SedonaGucci, N1mka4eva)  and, in several others' words, "turned PSG into his own personal diary". I have to say, PSG wasn't doing much better before Jack hijacked it so, I didn't really care when he first announced his reign.

But now, Jack has given PSG back.  And to be honest, I liked it when he was writing for it, because at least then, we had posts longer than one paragraph. Seriously, the first post not one paragraph in like, five (Four?) posts, is about another blog. Fiorama is the only one posting for now, even though she let all of the old writers back on.

I don't dislike Fiorama, but just  one day ago, she made a post on PSG about some random commenter who used her username on a comment on The Antagonist. I mean, that's personal blog stuff, not stuff you post on one of the biggest gossip blogs!  She should know that it's not gonna turn out well if you post something like that.

Some interesting comments:
 ^Ew.
^My thoughts exactly.

What I don't understand is, why was Dan wanting to write for the blog again if he has only  posted once  since he was accepted back in.  And that was a week ago!
Hopefully, Fiorama or Dan will accept some new writers soon, and they can start writing because, honestly, if they don't do something soon, PSG is going to be dead by the end of the year.  One post a week isn't going to cut it. Dan needs to post something, they need to accept more writers, and  an actual banner needs to be made.
What do YOU think is next for PSG? Will it be glory, Or goodbye?

Welcome.

Well well well. You lucky ones have stumbled across my new blog.  I'm not so great at introductions, but hey, who knows what could happen?  Give me some lights, a camera, and of course, a directors chair, and I'll blow your socks off.  Anyways, I created The Bomb because I wanted to be able to voice my opinion without getting hate messages on my account, or  being deleted because my subject didn't like what I said, and so decided to report me.
You all may think that I'm a big copier, or that  I'm just too afraid to voice my opinion, but if I was, would I be typing this post? Would I be replying to hate messages? No. I will be honest, but I will not be rude or mean to you unless I think you have done something to fit that category.

Get ready for the ride of your life, and watch your steps! You never know when a bomb is nearby!

{Banners are so stupid! Ugh, enough with individual writer banners, they get BORING.}
